Architecture of Bridges Between Industrial Data Transmission Standards and the SpaceFibre

The SpaceFibre standard enables the formation of large network structures. However, there are a significant number of sensors and executive devices with interfaces such as 1-wire, SPI, I2C, UART, LIN, CAN, FlexRay, ModBus, which need to be connected to such networks. This article examines the specifics of these standards, their capabilities and limitations in terms of developing bridges between the SpaceFibre network and these standards. A structural and architectural organization of the bridges is proposed, including protocols for data exchange. The possibilities for creating reconfigurable bridges that support multiple standards are considered.
