Quantum Legacy in the Hands of Secondary School Students to Implement Quantum Literacy Through Quantum Computing

We are living in $\tau$ he quantum computing era which is not just an evolution but a revolution of information technology. Quantum physics, a hundred years from the past, illuminates the future in science with consequences the string theory and the theory of everything. The rapid growth of society and the enhancement of prosperity are largely determined by the training and competence of skilled scientists, since the needs of the workforce are constantly changing. Education is understandably influenced by these rapid developments, being a pillar of preparation for students from an early age, with effective regular education, bringing out knowledge and skills to be productive citizens. The conceptual approach of quantum mechanics has become part of the secondary education curriculum in many countries, which is now necessary since it aims to familiarize students with advanced physics (quantum physics) and its applications. In this paper, we conduct a survey of the last twenty years, regarding the effort to integrate Quantum Physics, in secondary schools mainly in Europe. It also identifies the common topics in its curriculum in 15 countries, the approach to teaching the course, the obstacles, limitations, misconceptions, confusion, divergent controversial views, claims and learning difficulties that teachers and students encounter when assimilating and learning Quantum Physics' phenomena. This study, aims to enhance quantum literacy for SE students and we highlight a new culture of strategic learning, more effective than traditional pedagogical teaching, based on quantum computing and play, pleasantly activating students' mood, skills, critical thinking and motivation for meaningful learning and understanding of this innovative quantum science field. In addition, it presents interactive educational tools and software demonstrated by developers along with their experience, indicative webinars, quantum games and activities from around the world, as well as quantum computing education programs focusing on quality quantum education. Through these approaches, appropriate learning process paths are promoted, for the efficient transition of students from classical computing to quantum computing, mastering this quantum heritage, in a more accessible, popularized, fun and playful way, of different learning levels. In conclusion, it reflects the essential need for the integration of quantum computing in high schools into pedagogical materials, aiming at making this magical world of Quantum Physics accessible to all students.
