The Next-Gen E-Commerce Platform: Merging Vendor, Inventory, and Payment Gateway Solutions

This research outlines the creation of a contemporary multi-vendor e-commerce platform that leverages data analytics, advanced payment solutions, and artificial intelligence for customer support. The platform is designed to integrate various vendor systems, facilitating centralized oversight of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, while employing real-time analytics to support informed decision-making. Built on the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) technology stack, the platform aims to offer a cohesive shopping experience across diverse vendors, implementation includes a Chatbot Assistance feature that enhances customer support by providing real-time responses to frequently asked questions, product-related queries, and order issues. This paper discusses the technical features of the platform, the challenges encountered during its development, and the potential of data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency within e-commerce frameworks. To ensure the platform functions effectively, basic testing would typically be performed, such as checking order processing, inventory updates, secure transactions, and chatbot assistance for smooth user interactions, with the goal of significantly improving experiences for both vendors and customers in multi-vendor settings.
