A Comparative Study on the State-of-the-art Sentiment Analysis methodologies

Sentiment analysis, an automated process of extracting opinions and emotions from text, is essential for understanding human emotions and decision-making. Despite significant research, challenges persist in the field. In this paper we review recently introduced techniques, strategies, and tools, highlighting contributions from key researchers and identifying gaps that hinder progress. By identifying areas for further improvements, the paper aims to improve sentiment analysis methods, allowing for more accurate and nuanced handling of human language. Besides, addressing these gaps will lead to the development of more robust models capable of capturing subtle variations in human expression.
