Revolutionizing Education with Machine Learning: Personalized Learning, Tutoring Systems, and Analytics Unveiled

Machine Learning (ML) is transforming education through Personalized Learning, Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), and Learning Analytics. ML models dynamically adjust content, optimize tutoring interactions, and provide predictive insights to enhance academic outcomes. Techniques such as K-means clustering, Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machines (SVM) enable adaptive learning, emotion-aware tutoring, and early student risk detection. However, challenges persist. Traditional systems lack adaptability, ITS struggles with accurate sentiment interpretation, and learning analytics fails to predict early dropout. These limitations contribute to low engagement and high student attrition rates. To address these issues, this study develops an ML-driven framework to personalize learning, improve ITS responsiveness, and enhance predictive analytics. Our approach employs K-means clustering and Decision Trees for adaptive learning pathways, Naive Bayes with NLP for sentiment-based tutoring (92% accuracy), and Logistic Regression for at-risk student identification (90% accuracy). The results demonstrate that ML-driven interventions significantly improve student engagement, optimize tutoring effectiveness, and reduce dropout rates. This study underscores ML’s potential to revolutionize education by creating intelligent, data-driven learning environments that enhance both student and educator experiences.
