On the Application of Fundamental Clustering Methods to Large Scale Cyber Security Log Classification

This paper presents the results from an investigation of using traditional clustering approaches to address the problem of large-scale cyber security log entry classification. We applied two approaches to a large-scale dataset., and we discussed in detail the results obtained using a range of parameters. Critically., in addition to the results., we provide a new large-scale cyber security dataset that can be used in cyber security related research.
