Analysis of User Satisfaction of The SAP Application Using the PIECES Framework Method : Case Study of PT Domas Agrointi Prima

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with SAP applications at PT Domas Agrointi Prima using the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Services) methodology. In addition to technological advancements, the SAP application used in product procurement in this organization is plagued by various problems, including slow period opening and closing processes and its dependence on a reliable internet connection. This motivated management to assess the efficacy of the system in facilitating product procurement transactions. This study used a quantitative methodology. This study used probability sampling to produce a total of 258 respondents as a sample. Using a questionnaire for data collection and Partial Least Square (SmartPls) for data analysis, the four hypotheses proposed in this study were tested. Performance, information, economy, control and security, efficiency, and services are factors that influence user satisfaction with SAP applications at PT. Domas Agrointi Prima, according to the research findings. In an effort to improve user satisfaction with SAP applications at PT Domas Agrointi Prima, optimizing application performance through technology updates and more structured system maintenance is the right choice. Furthermore, the quality of application information should be a primary concern. Companies can assess the application process and identify unnecessary steps. On the service side, it is necessary to offer solution-oriented and responsive technical support. With the ability to immediately resolve user issues, PT Domas Agrointi Prima can form a helpdesk team that can be accessed around the clock. And finally, it is important for organizations to involve consumers in the application development process.
