Design of Automatic Test Platform for 400G QSFP112G Optical Module

With the accelerated intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry, the demand for high-speed optical modules is growing rapidly. The 400 G optical module with QSFP112 package form gradually replaces the low-speed optical module as the mainstream product in the market, but there is no complete set of automatic test platform and corresponding test software in the market, which causes the difference in the quality of the module performance validation and product testing due to the difference in the manual operation, validation process, and test equipment, so the purpose of this thesis is to design an automatic test platform for 400 G QSFP112 optical module that meets the QSFP112 MSA and Multi-source Protocol standards. Multisource protocol standards of 400 G QSFP112G optical module automatic test platform. The core objective of this system is to construct an efficient and reliable automatic test platform by analyzing the working principle of optical modules in depth, and starting from three perspectives: hardware equipment construction of the test platform, design of the test board, and software development. The test results show that the automatic test platform can meet the performance test of 400 G QSFP112 optical modules and the results meet the IEEE 400GBASE-DR4 standard.
