Research on A Calibration System for the Pressure Sensor in the Oil Chamber of A Simple Aeronautical Vehicle

The lubricating oil pressure is an important indicator of the operating status of an aero-engine. The lubricating oil pressure sensors often operate in harsh environments with high temperatures and high pressure. To enable the sensors to maintain high-precision performance in such special working environments, this research focuses on the calibration method of the pressure sensors in the lubricating oil chamber of an aircraft. Aiming at the existing calibration methods, a simple calibration system based on an embedded system and virtual instruments is designed and developed. A non-linear calibration method is adopted to precisely compensate for the non-linearity of the sensors, effectively reducing the systematic errors caused by non-linearity. By simulating the working environment of a certain type of lubricating oil pressure sensor, and combining LabVIEW programming with hardware devices, the precise calibration of the lubricating oil pressure sensors is achieved, and the calibration efficiency is improved. This method is simple to implement, and has high timeliness and stability, providing a reliable guarantee for the lubricating oil pressure monitoring of aero-engines. It is of great significance for the development of sensor calibration technology and engine inspection, maintenance, and repair technology in the aerospace field.
