Review and implementation of Isolation Techniques in MIMO Antennas

Multiple inputs and multiple outputs are increasingly becoming the norm in wireless applications, resulting in the need to integrate multiple antennas into consumer devices. Leverage MIMO antennas to increase channel capacity without using additional power or frequency. It requires multiple antennas and minimal connections at the transmitter. Therefore, for efficient use of MIMO antennas, fewer connections between antennas are required. Various MIMO antenna designs have been documented for wireless applications. Maintaining good separation between antennas is a major challenge for MIMO antennas. This article examines the various exempt tons that have been introduced in recent years. It includes a comprehensive review of design issues such as antenna miniaturization, integration issues, antenna connections, and isolation improvements. Metamaterials, separation networks, and irregular ground structures can improve isolation compared to other methods. MIMO antenna technology is used in a variety of transportation equipment, transportation, handheld and personal digital services, satellite communications, and IoT applications.
