A Novel MXene/GO Pressure Sensor With Amplified Substrates and Its Applications

In differential circuits, adjustable resistors with high sensitivity to small signals are essential. To solve the issue of low sensitivity in micro-pressure ranges, a novel MXene/GO pressure sensor with amplified substrates is proposed. Subsequently, the sensors are integrated into differential amplifier circuits for the first time. In this work, bilayer MXene/GO films are prepared using a straightforward coating technique (MXene dispersion and GO aqueous solution mix at a volume ratio of 1:4). By utilizing scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Raman spectroscopy, the microstructure and morphology are characterized. Since MXene is incorporated into the graphene in an amorphous form, the conductivity of the composite film is enhanced due to synergistic effects. The sensors with amplified substrates or not are ulteriorly employed in differential amplifier circuits. The sensor with amplified substrates exhibits outstanding performances, including high sensitivity increased by 65.6% ( $0\sim 1.25$ kPa), high output voltage magnified by 51% on average, stable amplification effect (23%), and minimal hysteresis error (1.5%). Additionally, the millisecond response time and recovery time are shortened by 47.4% and 21.7%, respectively. By replacing the traditional resistor in differential circuits, this sensor exhibits great potential in signal processing, human-computer interaction, and other fields for mass production.
