Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Stimulation as an Inhibitor for Cell Viability In Vitro on a MDA-MB-231 Cell Model.

The effects of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF) exposure and its classification related to human health remains as a subject matter that has not yet been fully explored and investigated. A possible therapeutic role for this type of radiation is suggested under specific parameters combination of frequency, intensity and exposure time leading to new strategies for major diseases treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of variations in extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields´ frequency and intensity on an in vitro model of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC).
