Unique Approach to Solve the Placement and Sizing of DG in IEEE -33 Bus Radial Network

Power represents one of the most significant probelms in the globe right now and it’s also thought to be one of the best ways for countries to grow. Nations have altered their plans to use green energy instead of energy sources that are not renewable because non-renewable power supplies are limited and using such fuels is bad for the earth. Energy sources that are renewable don’t lose value over time, don’t rely on changes in cost and are easier to get, which means they can play a bigger part in current power systems. Therefore, the best place to put these assets and how to best use them will change the boundaries of the energy grid. This paper presents a way to figure out where and how big to put Distributed generation (DG) in power distribution systems so that energy loss, bus voltage restrictions, DG load restrictions, current boundaries and DG penetration limitations are kept to a minimum. In the initial phase, find the DG capability that gives the most benefit to each bus. Then choose the ideal place to place the DG so that it gives the most benefit to each bus. This approach can be used to size and place both solitary and multi- distributed generation units. The coot bird optimization method (CBOM) is suggested as a way to find the best place for, dimensions, and strength factor (SF) of the DG within the distribution system. The proposed way has been tried out on IEEE 33-bus and Distributing Networks. The suggested CBOM approach works well to find the best location, size and SF for distributed generation, and it might be used for different types of distribution systems.
