Assessing Type 2 Fuzzy Networks for Solidity and Disturbance

Due to its inherent benefits and robust characteristics, fuzzy logic has been widely utilized in control applications. Nevertheless, Type-2 a Fuzzy method can be used to address the problem of model uncertainty. Although Type-2 Fuzzy Logic has showed promise in the past decade for image processing applications, its impact on controller performance should be thoroughly investigated. In this research, the case study was established to compare durability of General Type-2 and Periodic Type-2 fuzzy logic controllers by presenting a benchmark task in order to recognize under what conditions controller will work better. In the current research, integral squared relative error (ISRE), integral period-weighted absolute error (IPWAE) and intergral Relative Error are used as performance metrics for both tested control plants. We also offer valuable data like execution time.
