Cost-Benefit Analysis Method for Disaster Prevention and Restoration Resource Investment in Power Systems Based on Resilience Assessment

A resilient power system is crucial for ensuring the power stability and safety. Pre-allocating flexible resources ensures of power system’s reliable supply. This article studies an analysis method for resource investment from an angle of cost-effectiveness. A probabilistic resilience assessment method is used to evaluate performance during the disaster. The life cycle cost model is also applied to analysis. The proposed framework offers guidance to power system in resource investment planning.
