IoT-Based Smart Irrigation System with Cloud-Based Soil Monitoring

In this research paper, we focus on the development as well as execution of a smart irrigation system that is cloud-based and uses using NodeMCU as well as moisture content on the soil FC-28 Sensors. The irrigation system is intended to be automated by the system process in agricultural fields, providing farmers with the capacity to observe as well as to control the irrigation remotely. The system utilizes NodeMCU, an IoT platform that is open-source and integrates WiFi capabilities with a microcontroller, and Soil Moisture FC28 Sensors to monitor the soil moisture levels in actual time. The information gathered is then sent to a NodeMCU. The system also considers other environmental factors such as air temperature and humidity to determine the irrigation needs of the field. Through the use of a cloud server and web-based services, the system gives farmers access to current information about their field's moisture levels and choose your irrigation strategy wisely.
