Traffic Modeling of Typical Key Power Grid Information Systems

With the rapid development of information technology, information systems are increasingly applied in critical sectors like power grids. The traffic characteristics of these systems significantly impact their performance, stability, and security, making it vital to understand and model these characteristics as a key area of research for system performance. Traffic modeling not only reveals traffic patterns but also helps identify performance bottlenecks and security risks. This paper aims to analyze the traffic characteristics of typical power grid information systems, summarize various traffic modeling methods, outline their applicable scenarios and strengths and weaknesses, and evaluate their effectiveness to enhance the performance and reliability of power grid information systems.
