Math3Dmark: A Novel and Almost Perfect 3D Mesh Watermarking Scheme Based on Mathematics

In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital content creation, protecting intellectual property rights for 3D models has become increasingly critical. This paper presents a novel and straightforward watermarking solution that achieves robust copyright protection while maintaining the visual integrity of 3D models. Our approach involves a unique method of embedding watermarks by altering the order of coordinates in the polygon data of the 3D model, thereby ensuring that no perceptible changes occur in the model's appearance. This technique not only preserves the aesthetic quality but also demonstrates remarkable resilience against a wide range of attacks, including geometric transformations and noise addition. We evaluate the effectiveness of our method through comprehensive experiments, showcasing its ability to withstand common manipulation techniques while ensuring high watermark recovery rates. The proposed solution represents a significant advancement in 3D model watermarking, offering an almost perfect balance between security and visual fidelity.
