Leo: Personal Desktop Assistant Using Python

Personal assistants or the desktop assistant have proven to be very useful in daily life as they made our work easier. If the user wants to perform some action without using their hands, they can just call out the assistant to do so by speaking which would then be converted into speech via python speech recognition module. The assistant can perform the tasks for which it was designed so like they can help you message someone in WhatsApp or play some YouTube video. If you want to take the screenshot of any page you can give command to the assistant to do it, and the assistant will work accordingly. These used to work on deep learning. They are getting advanced day by day by learning like the humans through machine learning and in future it would turn out to respond to as like the humans will respond. Alternatively, they may say, “Tell me latest news,” and the assistant would tell it, or “Play my favourite songs,” and the music would begin playing. Despite their easiness, many people overlook the complexities of their operation. Virtual assistants are driven by AI, which allows them to understand natural language, whether spoken or written, and perform tasks according to it. In this project, we are using Python to construct a voice assistant.
