Enhancing Medical Image Authentication in Healthcare with SLT, Contourlet Transform, and Firefly Algorithm Techniques

In today's health care system, integrity and reliability of medical images are most important. This paper proposes a novel X-ray image authentication system that improves security with Shearlet Transform (SLT), Contourlet Transform (CLT), and the Firefly Algorithm (FA). The SLT and Contourlet Transform capture complicated features of images that provide a robust representation basis. The Firefly Algorithm enables the process of authentication to improve efficiency and accuracy. This proposed method integrates these techniques toward increasing strength against common threats such as tampering or forgery with high authenticity levels. Many simulations have good representation in its probable application to safeguard medical imaging in healthcare settings.
