Introduction of application of rapid location of line short circuit fault in low voltage transformer district

Based on the software and hardware resources of the existing intelligent devices in the low-voltage transformer district, this paper introduces the comprehensive application of key technologies such as the physical topology of the distribution area lines, fault indication, local communication, and fault location, so as to realize the automatic and rapid location function when short-circuit faults occur in the low-voltage transformer district lines. Through the analysis on the main technical links, the operating parameters, communication mechanism and equipment coordination mechanism are determined to improve the reliability of the operation of the automatic and rapid location function when short-circuit faults occur in the low-voltage distribution area lines. The scheme is based on the existing equipment upgrading software, which greatly reduces the equipment investment. Through the automatic location of line short-circuit fault, it can reduce the manpower and material resources investment in the process of line short-circuit fault maintenance, shorten the maintenance time, and has great engineering value.
