The Application of Intelligent BIM Technology in the Management of Low-Voltage Distribution Network Projects

With the continuous increase in China's electricity demand, the number of low-voltage distribution network projects is also growing. To ensure that these projects are advanced efficiently, with high quality and in an environmentally friendly manner, it is particularly important to explore effective management strategies. Against this backdrop, BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, with its excellent data processing capabilities, efficient collaboration mechanisms, and powerful intuitive display functions, has gradually emerged in the field of power grid infrastructure construction, bringing innovative solutions for the refined management of low-voltage distribution network projects. This paper focuses on the management process of low-voltage distribution network projects, delving into the core features of BIM technology and its applications in project management. It also analyzes the significant advantages of BIM technology in improving management efficiency, based on existing research. In addition, this paper points out the current shortcomings of BIM technology and the management of low-voltage distribution network projects, and looks forward to future development directions.
