Decision-Making Method for Sound Volume Control in the “Smart House” System

The developed in this paper decision-making method for sound volume control in the “Smart House” system provides automatic control of sound volume in the “Smart House” system in order to prevent exceeding sound volume standards depending on the type of room and time of day, as well as to ensure a comfortable noise (sound volume) level in the appropriate room. The results of the experiment have shown that the developed decision-making method for sound volume control in the “Smart House” system provides for the recognition of situations (optimal sound volume, high sound volume, unacceptable high sound volume) and automatic decision-making on sound volume control in a room of a certain type (automatic reduction of the sound volume of multimedia devices in the room to the maximum permissible level for it).
