In the 2020s, deep learning continues to advance rapidly, with applications in various fields such as healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles, and natural language processing. Backpropagation is a technique used to train artificial neural networks (inspired from the human brain) that improves the network to make better predictions by adjusting the connections between its neurons. Amazon Web Services offers the broadest range of deep‐learning offerings in the market. The offerings range from the hardware level offerings like customized chipsets to pre‐build machine images on Elastic Compute Cloud instances, to deep‐learning containers, to services like Amazon SageMaker that we can use to build, train, and deploy the models using popular deep learning frameworks, and finally to ready‐to‐consume services like Amazon Web Services Deep Lens and Amazon Rekognition and many others.
