Dynamic-Memory Event-Triggered Secure Control for Cyber-Physical Power Systems Under Hybrid Attacks

Unlike traditional power systems, cyber-physical power systems (CPPSs) relying on limited communication resources for data transmission are vulnerable to hybrid attacks, i.e., false data injection (FDI) and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, which will seriously destroy the control performance of systems. To address this problem, a novel secure control method for discrete-time CPPSs using dynamic-memory event-triggered scheme (DMETS) is proposed. Firstly, to effectively reduce the occupation of network bandwidth, a novel DMETS based on historical triggered data is presented, and the corresponding discrete-time switched system model under hybrid attacks is established. Secondly, a sufficient stabilization criterion under FDI attacks is derived to obtain the memory controller gains and event-triggered parameter matrix simultaneously. Moreover, considering the switching characteristics of system under stochastic DoS attacks, the maximum allowable attack rate to guarantee the exponential stability of system is given. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are demonstrated through several comparative experiments. To further verify its practical applicability, a real-time simulation using OPAL-RTLAB 5707 platform is provided.
