The Vibration and Noise Simulation and Optimization of High-Speed Permanent Magnet Motor

High-speed permanent magnet motors are prone to generating vibration noise due to their elevated rotational speeds. Excessive vibration noise can compromise motor stability, potentially causing damage to the motor and surrounding equipment, while also contributing to environmental noise pollution. Electromagnetic vibration noise (E-NVH) simulation analysis provides a valuable tool for evaluating the motor's vibration and noise characteristics under various operating conditions, serving as a foundation for noise reduction and optimization. In this study, a 24-slot 2-pole (24S2P) permanent magnet motor is used as an example to perform vibration noise simulations. Structural parameters are subsequently optimized to achieve significant noise reduction.
