Design of a Triple-Input, Single-Output Powered Aquaponics System with Iot Battery Monitoring

Most aquaponics systems relied only on either a single source or a combination of two to power such systems. It mainly used Solar and Grid Power. The main objective of this paper is to design an Aquaponics System that integrates a TripleInput, Single Output Power Supply with IOT Monitoring. The study focused mostly on the system's power switching capabilities and was limited to the ratings of the components or devices that were used. The researchers have designed and constructed a prototype that provided such function and tested whether the data being displayed were reliable and evaluated whether the environment itself was livable for Tilapia and Lettuce species. After conducting a 30 -day observation period it was seen that the IoT monitoring system produced reliable results for monitored parameters except for the $\mathbf{p H}$ sensor wherein its recorded error percentage was 0.6641 %. The average weekly growth observed for Tilapia was 2.57 grams and 3.071 centimeters for Lettuce. The designed aquaponics system has demonstrated that the TRISO charging on its battery enables continuous operation.
