A Disturbance Suppression Method for Permanent Magnet Arc Motor Using Robust Deadbeat Predictive Current Control and Quasi Resonant Control

This article proposes a control method combining deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) and quasi resonant control to suppress the periodic disturbances like current harmonics, cogging torque, and end cogging torque of the multisegment stator splicing permanent magnet arc motor used in large direct drive system. The zero-order holding method is used to discretize the current predictive function to improve the dynamic response capability. In order to address the performance degradation problem caused by parameter mismatch, a Luenberger disturbance observer is employed to estimate disturbances and improve the robustness of DPCC. Multiple quasi resonant controllers are designed on the speed and current loops to suppress torque harmonics, current harmonics, and improve the steady-state performance of the system. Simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
