Comparative Analysis of Transport Layer Protocols for File Transfer and Video Streaming

This paper presents the results of comparative performance analysis of QUIC, TCP and UDP transport layer protocols. QUIC and TCP are compared for file transfer time of different file sizes. QUIC and UDP are compared during video streaming. The characteristics compared are peak signal to noise ratio and structural similarity index of transmitted video for both protocols.
