Representation of Multichannel Multifrequency Sub-Nyquist Sampling as Periodic Non-Uniform Sampling

Sub-Nyquist sampling allows to remove some restrictions when it is necessary to provide digital signal processing in real time. One of the sub-Nyquist sampling techniques is multichannel multifrequency sampling, in which the analog signal is subjected to uniform sampling in several channels with different frequencies. In all channels, the sampling frequency is less than required by the sampling theorem, but this approach to multichannel sampling allows to restore signals distorted by aliasing. In this paper, it is shown that the considered sampling technique can be reduced to the well-known periodic non-uniform sampling, which can open up new possibilities for the application of multichannel multifrequency sampling.
