Rapid Assembly Method of Large Volume Stone for Transportation Facilities Based on BIM

Nowadays, in order to meet the needs of traffic facilities for landscape, stone is widely used in municipal engineering sidewalk paving. However, the phenomenon of stone cutting caused by the mismatch between the stone size and the station area often occurs in the actual project, which increases the construction cost and affects the construction efficiency, and does not meet the strategic needs of the sustainable development of today's society. Aiming at the above problems, this paper puts forward a rapid assembling method of railway yard stone based on BIM technology. By analyzing the characteristics of the blanking problem, the assembly area is regarded as the base material, the stone is regarded as the sub-material, and the stone loss of the boundary of the assembly area is considered in the actual assembly process. The four-point adaptive stone family is constructed by using Revit conceptual volumetric method, and the parametric assembly of traffic facilities stone based on BIM is realized by Dynamo visualization program editor. Finally, taking a certain area of a traffic facilities in Xi 'an City as an example, by calculating and comparing the boundary loss of the stone combination with six different sizes, the optimal stone combination is selected to carry out BIM parametric assembly. The research results show that the stone assembly method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the construction efficiency, improve the degree of engineering refinement, and reduce the construction cost.
