Metacommunications: New Horizons of Professional Interaction in Virtual Worlds

Under the rapid growth and development of metaverses, professional communications are undergoing significant changes. The article explores a new phenomenon – metacommunications, which is a new format of professional interaction in virtual worlds. The study examines the distinctive characteristics of metacommunications, their technological, social and psychological aspects. It analyzes examples and cases of using metacommunications in business and educational environments. The study objective is to study the features of metacommunications and their impact on the professional world, to identify their potential and limitations compared with traditional forms of professional communication. It was established that metacommunications have significant potential for global interaction and acceleration of information exchange; however, there are certain limitations related to technological capabilities and perception of virtuality. The article presents practical recommendations for the effective implementation of metacommunication strategies and suggests directions for further research in this area. The study highlights the importance of studying metacommunications as a new phenomenon that plays a key role in the transformation of professional interactions in the digital era.
