Justifying the Equipment Position in a Universal Cleaning System with its Separate Elements Imrovement

This paper discusses the issue of choosing and justifying the equipment of a universal cleaning system, a distinctive feature of which is the ability to work on one lane of the roadway. Special equipment is required in suppoting a city in the summer and winter seasons. This determines relevance of developing a universal cleaning system capable of effectively cleaning the city in winter and summer using the replaceable equipments. A basic chassis is proposed and composition of the cleaning system equipment under development is substantiated. A prototype of the universal cleaning system was manufactured. During the prototype operation in Kaluga, two problems were identified reducing its efficiency and productivity. Solutions to the identified problems are developed and implemented. The developed solutions would increase speed and efficiency of cleaning in winter and summer, as well as reduce the operation costs.
