Design of Locally Enhanced Metal Mesh Transparent Antennas

In this paper, locally enhanced metal mesh was used to replace ITO as the transparent conductive material to design transparent antennas. The calculation of transmittance for the metal mesh and the method for optimizing metal mesh was proposed. Finally, we have demonstrated that locally enhanced metal mesh can effectively improve antenna performance in both vehicle-mounted GPS transparent antenna and 5G communication transparent antenna.
