Information Database Establishment and Project Cost Management with Modern ICT Platform

With the rapid development of computer technology and network information technology and the continuous expansion of the construction market, the demand for construction cost information resources from all parties in the construction industry has become increasingly prominent, and the traditional project cost management can no longer meet the entire consultation process. The situation or demand of the market, coupled with the increasing importance of informatization in China and the introduction of informatization strategies in various industries, the reform of China's engineering cost informatization is imperative, but there are still many problems at this stage. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the development of engineering cost information technology from the aspects of the development status of computer technology in the engineering cost industry, the improvement of computer technology, the establishment of engineering cost information network and the use of information technology for cost business management. The development suggestions are put forward from the aspects of using modern ICT platform to realize the whole-process management of project cost, establishing a perfect data standard system, establishing a project cost database, and cultivating professional personnel of project cost management information.
