Reconfiguration of the Electrical Network at Arab American University for Improved Efficiency

This study examines the electrical network at Arab American University in Jenin. We collaborated with the university's maintenance department, gathered data from the main power source to create a detailed AutoCAD diagram, and measured transformer loads during different timeframes. Using AutoCAD and ETAP software, we constructed a single line diagram to understand the network's configuration. Our analysis led to a proposal to consolidate connection points for efficiency. However, limited measurement devices and small loads impacted result accuracy. We recommend integrating all low distribution lines and future PV systems while considering cost-effectiveness.
