A Novel Dataset for Abstractive Summarization of Bengali Health Documents

With the increasing availability of data and use of different online platforms, there are a lot of information which if used properly, can be hugely beneficial. It is impossible for humans to identify and utilize all information and data manually. Henceforth, automatic summarization has become an important research field. From vast amount of data, we can identify the important portion through summarization and make use of them. Ever since the Covid 19 pandemic, we have come to understand that the most important documents are related to health. In this research, we have delved into automatic summarization of Bengali health documents. We have created a novel dataset which consists of large number of documents. All associated resources will be made publicly available so that they can be used for advancement of researches in this field.
