MESIAS: A Web Application for Evaluating Ethical and Security Considerations in AI Project Implementation

Artificial Intelligence has revolutionized various sectors, but its successful implementation encounters significant security, ethics, and reliability challenges. This study presents a web-based tool addressing security and ethical considerations across various phases of AI projects. The platform features a virtual assistant and a best practices repository, which aids in project evaluation and offers personalized recommendations for risk mitigation. The application was validated through a case study involving 20 professionals from a technology consulting firm in Lima, Peru, who participated in a satisfaction survey during its preliminary phase. The results indicate a high acceptance level, with an average overall satisfaction score of 4.48, suggesting a favorable impact of the tool. This study establishes a foundation for comparative evaluations in future system implementation phases.
