Electrochemical Sensor for Lab on a Chip with Conductive ink by Screen Printing

This research focuses on studying electrochemical electrodes by applying screen printing technology to create an innovative printing approach. The material used is a graphene-carbon plate, and the electrochemical electrode is designed with three primary electrodes: a working electrode for graphene-carbon deposition, a counter electrode for graphene-carbon deposition, and a reference electrode for silver/silver chloride deposition to achieve high-performance analysis. The EWOD microchip consists of a silver paste for the electrode layer and PDMS for the dielectric layer. The three electrodes are printed on the H-pattern circuit layout. The EWOD system is utilized for combining reagent buffers and analytical droplets. In terms of analysis, the experiments varied the concentration of the analyte at 10, 50, 100, 250, and 500 micromolar using cyclic voltammetry. The test substance with the highest electrochemical properties was identified using SPGE (Screen-Printed Graphene Electrode) for electrochemical detection. The analysis focused on detecting potassium hexacyanoferrate (K4Fe(CN)6) to evaluate the electrochemical properties.
