An Integrated EV Charging System with Solar Energy and LLC Converter Topology

By proposing a complete plan for Electric Vehicle (EV) battery charging systems, this research work advances the development of sustainable transportation infrastructure. For electric vehicles, integrating solar energy, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms, with the LLC resonant converter (LLCRC) topology is a viable option to achieve high efficiency with less environmental impacts and better autonomy. The outcome of this study helps to create energetic and environmental-friendly transportation solution. The application of LLCRC in EV charger design is the main focus of the research. During the charging process, the LLCRC’s wide working range, high efficiency, and soft-switching properties are utilized to maximize power conversion and reduce energy losses. This strategy reduces the dependency on traditional grid supply and promotes an environmental friendly and sustainable transportation ecosystem.
