Summary

This chapter discusses the knowledge the readers must have to not only plan but also prepare for an artificial intelligence (AI) operations platform that is appropriate for the readers' organization. It explores some of the current products on the market. Using AI in healthcare operations provides many benefits. The importance of keeping critical systems operational so that healthcare operations can run and continue to run during any technology issue is the primary benefit of using AI operations (AIOps) platforms in a healthcare environment. The chapter also explores some of the biggest and most widely used products in AIOps. AI in operational models has become the de facto standard of how services are designed and deployed.
