In the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, the legalities surrounding intellectual property (IP) rights are in constant flux. The matter of IP rights for AI‐generated content is intricate and varies across jurisdictions and terms of use. Bias, an unwelcome specter, can insidiously creep into generative AI models through myriad avenues. One of the most prevalent culprits is biased training data. The chapter discusses the social implications of biased AI‐generated data on real‐world applications. It also explores the misinformation and misuse of generative AI. While some nations are proactively drafting guidelines and laws that address AI ethics, transparency, and accountability, the swift evolution of AI often eclipses the pace of these regulatory endeavors, leading to potential oversight voids.
