This chapter provides some suggestions for creating effective AI prompts, with a particular emphasis on grant proposals. AI has the expertise to craft compelling applications, but it's the human touch that adds the emotional appeal and storytelling elements that resonate with funders. Grantors don't hand out funding to robotic‐sounding text. Successful grant writing involves the coordination of several activities: planning, searching for data and resources, writing and packaging the grant, submitting the grant, and following up. Testimonials offer social proof of the credibility and authenticity of the project. They showcase positive experiences and outcomes, building trust and demonstrating the project's potential for success. Nearly 90 percent of all funding decisions are made before the potential grantor finishes reading the executive summary. The grantee and the funding organization work together to establish the necessary administrative and financial arrangements for the project.
