Connected Cultivation: Harnessing IoT for Smart Gardens and Automatic Irrigation Systems

Plants depend heavily on water for nutrient transport and photosynthesis. However., traditional gardening methods often fail to provide the precise water management needed for optimal plant growth. This paper presents an IoT-based Smart Garden and Automatic Irrigation System, employing the ESP32 microcontroller as the core controller. The system integrates soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and motion sensors, with data accessible through the Blynk application for remote monitoring and control. The system automates irrigation and climate control, enhancing water efficiency and promoting healthier plant growth. The research demonstrates that leveraging IoT technology in gardening can significantly improve water management., reduce waste, and provide a more convenient gardening experience.
