Study on Parameter Optimization of G rod Calibration Curve For PWR Nuclear Power Plant

In order to rectify the control effectiveness of the reactor control system, and to ensure the availability and operational flexibility of the plant, this study employed the optimal estimation thermal-hydraulic model for the beginning of life burnup of the equilibrium cycle, and conducted parameter optimization of the G rod calibration curve. The transient response under the G rod calibration curve before and after optimization was calculated using a thermal-hydraulic program to assess the unit's normal operating margin, ensuring the overall performance of the reactor control system. The research results indicate that the optimized G rod calibration curve improved the control effectiveness of the reactor core control system. Therefore, the G rod calibration curve optimization method established in this study can be used as input for the design of the reactor core control system.
