An Online Frequency Assessment Method for High Proportion Renewable Energy Power Systems Adapted to Power Fluctuation Scenarios

As the proportion of renewable energy power generation continues to increase, the volatility of power supply and load is enhanced, the balance mechanism of the power system is transformed, and the power grid operation is subject to the risk of frequency exceeding the security range due to the continuous increase of load, insufficient power supply during the period of low new energy power production, and the restriction of consumption when new energy generation is abundant and other factors. In order to comprehensively assess the frequency security of high proportion renewable energy power systems, on the basis of analyzing the new demand for online security assessment, an online setup method for minute-level disturbances and a long-term frequency simulation model are proposed, and an online application process is proposed in conjunction with the grid operation, and finally the validity of the proposed method is verified by using actual grid operation data.
