On Road Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging Prototype using Solar Panel

This paper presents a wireless electric vehicle (EV) charging system, enabling continuous energy transfer while in motion. The system utilizes solar panels to generate DC voltage, converted to AC by an inverter, powering transmitting coils embedded under the road. These coils produce an alternating magnetic flux, inducing an AC electromotive force (EMF) in receiving coils attached to the vehicle. The induced EMF is rectified by rectifier and regulated using a TP4056 module and IC7805, charging the vehicle's battery. This innovative approach eliminates range anxiety, reduces battery size and weight, and enhances safety and convenience. Wireless power transfer mitigates electrocution risks and enables automatic charging initiation. The system facilitates dynamic wireless charging, ideal for EVs in motion or during brief stops, complementing static charging methods.
