Forecasting AI Evolution: A Data-Driven Trend Analysis until 2030

Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a significant role in transforming various sectors across the world. Beyond technological advancement, AI also promotes socio-economic growth. Hence, forecasting AI trends holds immense significance in anticipating technological evolutions and their impact on diverse sectors. In the proposed study, data analytics is used to predict the trend of AI until 2030. Data analytics is revolutionizing the way we perceive and harness data-driven insights. This field encloses a wide range of methods, including data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning. In the study, datasets containing the trends of AI across various sectors globally from the year 2017 to 2021 were pre-processed. Then, Excel’s linear forecast function is used to forecast the trend of AI and is validated using Python’s linear regression. Since the advancement of AI has positioned it as an integral part of the future, these tools will help explore historical data to uncover trends and potential future developments in AI. The outcomes of the study were then analyzed manually. The study concludes that AI plays a significant role in the global economy which may be influenced by various factors.
