An Analysis Method of Influencing Factors of Wideband Oscillations in Fractional Frequency Transmission System for Offshore Wind Power Based on Copula Entropy

With the continuous expansion of offshore wind power, the fractional frequency transmission technology has become a competitive means to offshore wind power transmission scheme. However, the dynamic interaction of power electronic devices may lead to the occurrence of wideband oscillation accidents. Clarifying the key influencing factors of wideband oscillation is crucial for the safe and stable operation of the system. The analysis method of wideband oscillation influencing factors based on eigenvalues is limited by the high complexity and detailed parameter acquisition. Copula entropy is a measure of the correlation between random variables, which can quantitatively analyze the correlation between data. It has the advantages of no model assumptions and high accuracy, so it can be used to analyze wideband oscillation data. Therefore, this article proposes a method based on Copula entropy for analyzing the influencing factors of wideband oscillation in fractional frequency transmission system for offshore wind power. The correlation analysis is carried out on the various parameters and wideband oscillation evaluation indicators of the system, and the key influencing factors of wideband oscillation are extracted.
