Suspended Current Measurement Device for Long Air Gaps with A Floating Object

The combined gap for live working is a typical long air gap with a floating object, but the existing experimental platforms for discharge observation lack the means to measure the characteristic parameters of discharge on the floating object. In this paper, a suspended current measurement device is designed to measure the discharge current generated during the discharge development process, and its reliability is verified by simulation calculations. This device can provide data support for determining the physical processes at various stages of the discharge development process, so as to more accurately describe the discharge development process, improve the discharge mechanism theory of long air gaps with a floating object, and provide theoretical references for improving the safety of live working.
